Gary Allan continues to walk a path that straddles mainstream country and the rootsier sounds of bakersfield's country audiences.  this is the third single from his rock influenced "Living Hard" album.  With that edge, does it stand up well against Gary's older songs and what's currently on radio?

Here's the first single "Little Toy Gun" from California folk-rock act honeyhoney.  The video was directed by and stars Kiefer Sutherland, the co-owner of the band's record label Ironworks Records (Which partnered with UniversalRepublic).

"Neon Halo" is the national debut for California band Austin Law.  Mixing in traditional country instrumentation and melodies, the band goes for the gusto with harmony vocals.  If this sounds like Diamond Rio's approach it is.  But can Austin Law match that gold standard?
