Jamey Johnson has been crowned the savior of traditional country music in some circles but the announcement today of his duet with Kid Rock for a performance on the Wednesday November 11, 2009 telecast is sure to ruffle some feathers.

The superstar country artists will be touring together in early 2010 as they support their newest albums Twang and Keep On Loving You.  The singers joined forces earlier this year for the first performance at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX.

Taylor Swift today achieved something no other artist has achieved this decade. Her self-titled debut album for Big Machine Records broke a record on the billboard charts for most time spent on it.  She also achieved milestones on iTunes with her new follow-up "platinum" set.

Last night on MTV's Video Music Awards current country music darling Taylor Swift was interrupted during her acceptance speech by rapper Kanye West who appeared furious that Beyonce lost the award to Taylor. Was this whole event real or scripted?
