Carrie Underwood leads an unusually small slate of 4th Quarter releases.  Typically the month of November is full of new releases for the holiday season but perhaps last month's star-packed treatment will suffice for 2009's holiday season.  Big Kenny and Jimmy Wayne release new albums as well.

There are very few artists who walk the walk when they talk the talk.  Big Kenny is one of the few who walk what they talk.  In an exclusive interview, Big Kenny talked to Roughstock about a variety of things, including his experience in the Sudan and his new album. which features "Long After I'm Gone."

Big Kenny has recently scored a Top 40 hit with his debut single "Long After I'm Gone" and is about to release his album The Quiet Times of a Rock And Roll Farm Boy on his own record label, Love Everybody/Glotown/Bigger Picture.  Listen to it here before you can buy it.

As an act with few true radio hits, a Greatest Hits project for Big & Rich might seem like a little stretch but if you consider the fact that the duo's albums were always more than their radio hits, the time is probably ripe for such a CD.

After finally establishing himself as one-half of the popular duo Big & Rich, Big Kenny is currently a judge on the latest edition of "Can You Duet."  With is personality to love everybody well documented, how will he translate that to a solo country career?
