There are very few artists who walk the walk when they talk the talk.  Big Kenny is one of the few who walk what they talk.  In an exclusive interview, Big Kenny talked to Roughstock about a variety of things, including his experience in the Sudan and his new album. which features "Long After I'm Gone."

As an act with few true radio hits, a Greatest Hits project for Big & Rich might seem like a little stretch but if you consider the fact that the duo's albums were always more than their radio hits, the time is probably ripe for such a CD.

With a finely crafted personality from his days in Big & Rich, there probably are expectations that this album will be like his past duo stuff.  Those expectations should be placed in the back seat for what is presented here is far different.

Well, this is a surprise.  An actual song that speaks to people about the current economy and it has the hints of protest too?  And John Rich is the singer/writer of the song? Wow. Does the song have the makings of a gigantic radio hit or will it stall after a quick chart run?

2008 turned out to be the year that John Rich gained high exposure through his "Gone Country" shows and by being one of the judges of Nashville Star. This single is his first with Warner Brothers as a solo artist.  Will this romantic song be a hit or will radio go 'eh' and move on?
