After over 20 years with Arista Nashville, country music superstar Alan Jackson has parted ways with the company. The speculation will now begin on where Alan will end up as he obviously is looking to continue recording country music. We have an idea of where he'll go.

After two albums and four hit singles, Jason Michael Carroll stated via twitter that he and his label home of four years, Arista Records/Sony Music Nashville have agreed to part ways.  Carroll also stated that he will head into the studio to record a 3rd album soon.

Country icon Alan Jackson will be releasing his 18th album, titled Freight Train on Tuesday, March 30, 2010.  The album, produced by longtime friend and producer Keith Stegall features the single "It's Just That Way."

Alan Jackson has earned the right to sing whatever he likes and in 2006 he used some of that cache to release the not-so-traditional sounding "Like Red On A Rose" but like a good winter storm, AJ returned in 2008 with some great traditional country stuff, like this single here.
