It's that time of the week again, it's time for the Soundscan chart numbers.  With 176,414 copies sold, Kenny Chesney's "Lucky Old Sun" Landed on top. While it was a great week for Kenny, John Michael Montgomery's return netted him the less-than stellar place of 172 with "Time Flies.

Todd Snider is one of the most skilled singer-songwriters woring in music nowadays.  "Peace Queer" is his latest release and it's the first for his own record label.  It's a collection of politically themed songs that are ripe for the current political climate of the USA.

A critical darling, Lucinda Williams has practically owned the female 'alt-country' market for the last decade.  "Little Honey," her fifth release this decade after only two during the 1990's, finds Lucinda singing about the way true love has altered her perspective on relationships. Did this new perspective help or hinder her career?
