Today the ACM Award Nominations for 2012 were announced and Kenny Chesney leads the nominations with nine and is followed by Jason Aldean with six and Lady Antebellum with five, Brad Paisley with four and four other artists with three each. Read on to find out more.

Today the Academy of Country Music announced the final six nominees in two New Artist categories, one for Solo Artists and the other for Duo or Group.  Easton Corbin (pictured) was one of the six finalists. Click the image above to find out the other five finalists!

Award shows are usually quite predictable and while the 45th ACM Award show was mostly predictible, there were a few moments where it wasn't so predictible and Miranda Lambert was part of two of those wins while the Best New Artist had a surpising outcome as well.
