The second installment of our five-part series CMA Award prediciton and preview focuses on the Vocal Group of the year, the Vocal Duo of the Year  and New Artist of the Year.  These three categories feature a lot of talent but only one act can win, who do we think will do so?

Over the next few days, Roughstock will be previewing the CMA Awards telecast with some predictions for the major categories.  Today we look over the Music Video of the Year and Music Event of the Year Categories and offer our thoughts on how they stack up.

The CMA announced their latest round of performers for the 43rd edition of the Country Music Assoication Awards.  Tim McGraw and Vince Gill were announced along with six other acts, including rock band Daughtry.  Should a rock band be allowed on a country show?

The 2009 CMA Award Nomminees were announced today and like much of the recent past, Brad Paisley leads the pack of nominees with seven nominations.  Four other artists follow Paisley with four nominations each.  Did your favorite artist get nominated?
