Bailey Zimmerman Continues To Pile Up Impressive Stats In 2022

As the year rolls into 2023, the accolades keep coming for one of the most-exciting new artists from 2022.

With all of his success as a newcomer in 2022, Bailey Zimmerman can remove the “rising” moniker next to the “star” moniker that usually has been written before his name. Instead, he’s now “only” a star and he could have the other superlative: “superstar” before 2023 gets out. Why do we say this? Well, the statistics don’t lie, do they?

Impressively, Bailey’s 2022 accomplishments continue to pour in as he ends the year ranked the #2 Top New Country Artist and #4 Top New Artist across all genres while also being crowned the 8th Top Country Artist on the Billboard chart as well. Sitting at #3 on TikTok’s Emerging Artists chart in the USA, Bailey has also been named to multiple Year-End lists with “Fall In Love” landing on the LA Times’ 100 Best Songs of 2022 and NY Times’ Best Songs of 2022 and Holler’s 20 Best Country And Americana Songs of 2022. In addition, Bailey’s the only country artist to receive two Platinum certifications from the RIAA for singles released in 2022. They include “Fall In Love” and “Rock and A Hard Place.”

“Fall In Love” recently hit #1 at country radio airplay charts and was the first debut artist to hit #1 in 2022 and the fastest debut artists to hit #1 since 2015. The star is currently one of iHeartCountry’s “On The Verge” artists with current radio single “Rock And A Hard Place” rising at a brisk place and was the most-added new single this week at country radio’s tally of the current songs gaining favor with radio programmers nationwide.

“We are so proud of the incredible year Bailey’s had and even more excited about what the future holds for this talented young artist,” shared 300 Elektra Entertainment’s Chairman & CEO, Kevin Liles. “The storied legacy of Elektra is built on artist development, a driving force that’s woven into our DNA and a mission that our amazing partners at Warner Music Nashville share with us. We know that this is just the start of his journey. Look out for BZ in ’23.”

“I’m in awe of how fast the country music community has embraced and helped accelerate this insanely talented artist,” added Warner Music Nashville Co-President, Ben Kline. “As big as this story already is, the best is truly yet to come. We are fortunate to have such great partners in Elektra to help reach our shared vision for Bailey.”

Bailey Zimmerman will head out on the road with Morgan Wallen for his 2023 One Night At A Time World Tour which kicks off overseas in New Zealand and Australia Next March.

This past October saw the release of Zimmerman’s debut album, Leave The Light On and the album (review here) became not only the most-streamed debut of any genre in 2022 but also became the biggest country streaming debut of all time. The recording landed at #2 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart and #9 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart (and #8 on the all-genre Canadian Albums Chart.
