After growing up as an artist before the eyes of America, first on American Idol and then later through her three albums and several Top 40 country chart hits, Lauren Alaina has moved on from her record label home of 19/Mercury Nashville and UMG Nashville after 11 years. Now a confident 27 year old woman, Alaina has ventured into new territories as both an actress and reality TV star via her films The Road Less Traveled and Roadhouse Romance and stints on Dancing with the Stars and Beyond The Edge. She also was recently inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry, and of her biggest dreams coming true when friend and mentor Trisha Yearwood invited her.
In the instagram post where Alaina shared the news of her departure from her longtime recording home, Lauren said it’s time for her to “spread my wings and close a very important chapter in my life.” She also simultaneously noted that she’s hoping to share some exciting news on the career front in the near future.
We bet that news will be a new record label home while also potentially showing more TV and film opportunities for the multi media star.
