Randall King Readies Major Label Debut Album "Shot Glass"

Rising Warner Music Nashville artist is set to release the album -- Featuring "Record High" -- in March of 2022.

Country music playlists are about to get “more country” as country music traditionalist Randall King is set to release his major label debut album Shot Glass on March 11, 2022. Featuring 11 tracks, the album was produced by Bart Butler and Ryan Gore.

As a writer of eight of the eleven tracks on Shot Glass, Randall King has centered the album around a night at a bar, with each song representing a different point of view of those in the room and the album certainly showcases that even when you think you’re drinking alone, you really never are.

“This record is four years in the making, and there are a lot of things I’ve gone through in those years,” said King. “Heartbreak, love, loss, fear, anger, peace. You hear all of that through this record. It’s a piece of me that I love and can’t wait to share with the world, for it to resonate and hit folks right where they need. There are songs I’ve written over the last five years on this record, some I’ve played out and some nobody has heard yet. I’m excited to drop it and let it off the chain!”

Three of the album’s tracks have been release as singles prior to this album announcement with “You In A Honky Tonk,” “Baby Do” and “Record High,” the first release from Shot Glass, brought high praise from around Music Row and beyond and helped steer, along with several standalone tracks, an EP and holiday tunes, King to over 100 million global career streams to date.
