Niko Moon "Good Time" Certified Gold

The singer/songwriter behind the rising hit on RCA Nashville Records has reason to cheer as his debut track has been certified by the RIAA.

It's been a year to remember for everyone and that's especially true for rising singer/songwriter Niko Moon as his debut single on RCA Nashville, "Good Time" has not only broken the Top 25 at country radio but thanks to monster streaming success, Niko is now the owner of a Gold-certified single from the RIAA.

Surprised by the news when talking with Cody Alan on After Midnite, on Tuesday, October 7, 2020, Niko was especially appreciative of the news.

“I am beyond excited that ‘Good Time’ is my first Gold record as an artist!” said Moon. “I cannot thank everyone enough for their support, from country radio and streaming, to my team, to the people who have embraced this song and listened to it over and over – I am so blessed. And of course, Cody Alan who helped break this news! It’s so humbling and I’m just happy to be able spread positivity through country music.”

In addition to country radio Top 25 status, “Good Time” broke the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time this week and later in the week, Niko will make his Grand Ole Opry debut (Saturday October 10).

Prior to breaking out as an artist, Niko worked with Zac Brown to craft the Zac Brown Band’s #1 hits “Loving You Easy,” “Homegrown,” “Beautiful Drug,” “Keep Me In Mind” and “Heavy Is the Head,” among other co-writing opportunities. Moon is known for blending his musical inspirations of country, rock, pop and hiphop into an interesting stew with shrewd wordplay, edgy beats and hooky melodies backing up the lyrics which ground everything in the country music lane. Niko is currently working on his debut full-length album alongside longtime friend and collaborator Joshua Murty.
