Chris Janson’s “Good Vibes” Tops Both Country Radio Airplay Charts

The good fortune happens during the release week for his third album Real Friends, released by Warner Music Nashville’s Warner Records label.

For the third time in his career, but for the first time on the Billboard, Chris Janson has a single on the top of the country radio airplay charts with “Good Vibes.” A feel-good call to arms that was sorely needed in these divisive times, “Good Vibes” is the first of 13 songs to be released from the just-issued album Real Friends. Each of the thirteen tracks was co-written and co-produced by Chris Janson for the project. The album is the third release from the young star often compared with Hank Williams, Jr. thanks to his energetic live performances and feel-good anthems about real people and life.

“I’m very humbled this morning,” says Janson about “Good Vibes” hitting No. 1. “I couldn’t even go to sleep last night. This being my third No. 1 song has once again changed our world. To my fans – holy cow!! What an amazing trip we’re taking together! Thank you for consistently having my back and supporting me.”

The Grand Ole Opry star will be celebrating the release of the album with a string of national television performances including a double-header performance where Chris will share a performance of “Good Vibes” during the 8 am hour followed by the live national TV premiere of his follow-up single from Real Friends, the track “Done,” during the 10 am Hour. There will be a performance on Ellen on Friday October 25 as well. These performances follow Chris Janson’s previous appearances on Live With Kelly and Ryan and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
