Nominated for a 2019 ACM Award for “Song of the Year,” Russell Dickerson celebrated today his first multi-platinum certification for his breakout debut hit “Yours.” The song, from his debut recording of the same name, was a massive hit and has accumulated nearly 300 million streams across the world, to date. It has become a staple of country radio and set a foundation for the string of hits Dickerson has amassed to date, including #1 hit “Blue Tacoma” and current radio single, “Every Little Thing.”
Dickerson was, understandably, very excited about the song’s success amidst a busy schedule, ““This is a huge week for us with ‘Yours’ hitting double platinum and going into ACM’s week with a Song of The Year nomination,” said Dickerson. Adding, “‘Yours’ really is the song that could. It still just keeps on surprising us!”
