Maggie Rose To Tour With Kelly Clarkson

Maggie Rose announces Tour dates for early 2018 along with some of her band's own headlining gigs as well.

It's a match made in powerhouse vocalist heaven as singer/songwriter Maggie Rose joins Kelly Clarkson as direct tour support for Clarkson's The Meaning Of Life Tour for select dates in the spring of 2019. In addition, she has announced headlining shows nationwide including a performance during the Cayamo cruise, setting sail in February with roots-music performers including Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, Dawes, Emmylou Harris among others. Touring in support of her critically-acclaimed album Change The Whole Thing, Rose has already sold-out venues on the East Coast this fall and has been tapped to join O.A.R. for a performance close to her hometown in Washington, D.C. (12/15). She will continue bringing her “can’t miss” (USA Today) live performances to fans with upcoming stops in major cities including Cleveland, OH (3/8), Columbus, OH (3/28) and Chicago, IL (3/30). The full list of tour dates are included below with more to be announced.
Capturing the energy and authenticity of Rose’s live performances, Change The Whole Thing was recorded entirely live in the studio with a 13-piece band and no overdubs. Co-produced by Rose and Bobby Holland, Change The Whole Thing is an amalgam of soul, funk, gospel, pop and blues, and is Rose’s first full-length record release in five years. The album has garnered praise with press lauding its’ diverse musical landscape and the definite contrast from Rose’s previous sound with American Songwriter calling her “...a quiet force....bridging the gap between pop, country, and R&B...exploring her myriad of musical influences. Rolling Stone highlighted her, "...inner soul diva, belting with fire…,” Vogue called her the “It Girl,” and NPR classified her in a class of young pop crossovers, calling her "What's Next in Nashville."

Change The Whole Thing follows Rose’s two-track, digital 45 with songs “Just Getting By” and the pulverizing “Pull You Through,” both included on the new album. With an invigorating blend of soul, roots, blues and gospel, the album commands the attention of fans and onlookers with an intriguing quality that can only be captured live in the studio. Quickly being recognized as a formidable force in the pop-soul, jam-band arena, Rose has been named a YouTube Emerging Artist, a Pandora Artist To Watch and is currently being featured in the National Land O’Lakes ad campaign focused on women’s empowerment. Change The Whole Thing coincides with a behind-the-scenes musical documentary about the making of the record to be released at a later date.
