Top 10 Country Albums Sales Chart: November 7, 2018

Gospel. Outlaw. Traditional. Christmas. It's all covered on this week's rundown of the best pure album sales in country music.

With nearly 14,000 albums sold, Josh Turner's lifelong dream has landed on top of the Soundscan Top Country Albums chart this week. His first Gospel album I Serve A Savior sits at #1 while Carrie Underwood's Cry Pretty sits at #2 with Pure sales nearly 331k to date (it's already certified Gold thanks to sales plus streaming numbers). Eric Church's Desperate Man is at #3 with sales at 133k plus. At #4 is a debut this week as Whitey Morgan sold over 4,400 copies of his latest album Hard Times And White Lines. Luke Combs' Platinum certified This One's For You (Too) sits at #5 this week.

At #6 is Chris Stapleton's Traveller  while From A Room: Volume 2 sits at #8 (Volume 1 is now a 'catalog' title and thus not on this chart anymore). In between Stapleton is Jason Isbell's #1 album from last week, Live From The Ryman. He's sold 16,500 copies in two weeks. At #9 is last week's #2 album, Jason Aldean's Rearview Town. Rounding out the Top 1o is Kane Brown's Platinum-certified debut album. His new album releases on Friday.

Notable new releases making appearances this week include Chely Wright, Jamie Lin Wilson, Blackberry Smoke, Jessie James Decker and Dillon Carmichael. We also chronicle a sizable portion of the notables this week including Jimmie Allen, Morgan Evans, Scotty McCreery, Sugarland, John Prine, Cole Swindell Martina McBride, Daily & Vincent, Chris Young, Cody Jinks and more!

You are posting from the same IP address. Same one that "Mitch" "Joey" and "Saving Country Music" and a bunch of other comment people. I just don't know why you think you need to do this, "Seth."

Matt & Roughstock. ... I apologize for not researching more into this a few days ago. But a commenter on my website stated that this website was ending after 20+years. They gave a link on my site to one of your comment sections in an article. I assumed it was true & commented back "too bad. They were so resourceful over the years". That was it. Then it seemed to snowball as other ppl commented saying it was a hoax on your website. Once I heard that, I deleted the comment on my site - so others wouldn't see & believe it. I apologize (which I rarely do) that I didn't look more into this before I commented earlier. Glad this site will continue on. Keep up the great work!!!
