Charlie Worsham Releases “Follow Your Heart: A Guitar, A Tattoo And One Man’s Country Music Journey”

The critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter held a special event at Nashville’s The Station Inn to commemorate the event.

One of Nashville’s most-prized musicians, Charlie Worsham details his life as a guitar slinger in the guitar town in his new book (Follow Your Heart: A Guitar, A Tattoo And One Man’s Country Music Journey) and it’s all for a great cause as the proceeds from the book, published by Spring House Press, will go towards Charlie’s Follow Your Heart Scholarship Fund. Charlie created the charity in partnership with the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee with funds to support the youth of Grenada, Mississippi, youth who are like Charlie Worsham with uncommon talent and desire to achieve great things in the arts. To date, the organization has raised nearly $100,000 including $35k from this past weekend’s gala in Grenada, his hometown. Country Music Hall of Fame songwriter Don Schlitz joined Charlie at the gala. More info can be found here.

The book (buy here), is just part of a busy itinerary the rising singer/songwriter has built around his 2017 sophomore album release, Beginning Of Things. The album has been critically-acclaimed while allowing Charlie Worsham to tour with folks like Miranda Lambert, an artist he’ll tour with in 2018 on her Livin’ Like Hippies Tour along with performing this week with Marty Stuart at his 25th Opry anniversary celebration at Nashville’s Roman Auditorium.
