some of those are selling decently though numbers now are significantly lower than they were in the early 2000's when albums readily went multiple platinum while now a days most artists struggle to reach gold save some big names like Carrie Underwood Adele Taylor Swift etc. and some big albums remain to be released this year Shania Twain Now Kellsea Ballerini Unapologetically Chris Stapleton From A Room Volume 2 Taylor Swift is rumored to be releasing a new album this year Miley Cyrus Tim McGraw & Faith Hill's duets album etc

The fact that you included Kellsea Ballerini's in that list is laughable. Her debut album hasn't sold 300k (although it's been certified platinum due to streaming) and her lead single (Legend) isn't doing well both at radio and sales

RIAA should lower the Gold, Platinum, etc. criteria. I propose Gold at 250,000, Platinum at 500,000, and Diamond (if anyone can get there in these times) at 5,000,000. That would mean that Chris Stapleton's "From A Room: Volume 1" would already be Platinum (including streaming) and "Traveller" would be 4x Platinum. Also, RIAA should adopt the UK's Silver certification, which could certify anything over 125,000. That means that albums such as "The Breaker" by Little Big Town and soon, "Heart Break" by Lady Antebellum can receive a certification.
