Sara Evans Signs With Concord Music Group

Multi-Platinum superstar artists will release her next album via Sugar Hill Records.

Sara Evans finally has a new record label to call home. After recording her entire career for Sony Music Nashville’s RCA label, Sara and the company parted ways late last year. The singer, today, announced her new record deal with Concord’s Sugar Hill Records label. She will join a roster that includes Sugar Hill Records artists Jewel, Lee Ann Womack, Josh Kelley, Shawn Mullins and Corey Smith as well as fellow Concord Music Group artists including Paul McCartney, Melissa Etheridge, James Taylor and more.

“We are thrilled to have Sara Evans join the Rounder Label Group family. I’ve followed her astounding career and watched her grow as an artist and as an individual for years, from her first record Three Chords and the Truth to her 2011 smash “Stronger,”” said Tracy Gershon, Vice President of A&R for Rounder Label Group. “One aspect I’ve always admired about Sara is the excitement that others continue to have for her and the music – from publishers to fans and peers alike.  We are honored to have her join the Rounder family and I can’t wait to share this next chapter of her musical journey.”

“I’m so excited to begin this next chapter of my career with the amazing team at Sugar Hill and Concord Music Group,” said Evans. “I appreciate how they allow their artists to have complete creative freedom in the music they make, and I love how they think outside of the box to find new and innovative ways to get that music to the fans.  I’ve already begun writing and finding songs for the album, and couldn’t be happier with the direction it’s taking and what we’ve put together so far.”

Evans recently teamed up with TV personality Todd Chrisley, of the hit USA Network show Chrisley Knows Best, for the Season 4 finale where they did a duet entitled “Infinite Love.” The single, available now at http://smarturl.it/InfiniteLove, debuted in the Top 10 on the iTunes Country Singles Chart and has been receiving rave reviews from fans across the country. Evans will join some of her family members to face off with the Chrisleys on the hit ABC show Celebrity Family Feud, airing Sunday, September 11th. She will play for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Sara Evans has 5 #1 country single to her credit including the timeless hit “Suds In A Bucket” and her 2014 single “A Little Bit Stronger.”
