Country Albums Chart Report: March 15, 2016

Joey+Rory's "Hymns" returns to the top of the charts, (it's second week at #1) and more news on this week's weekly rundown of the best-selling country records!

Due to moving on after her battle with cancer, Joey Martin Feek's duets album with Husband Rory, Hymns returns to #1 with sales now approaching 200,000 copies scanned. Chris Stapleton's Platinum-scanned and certified album Traveller is at #2 while Granger Smith's Remington debuts at #3 with 24k scanned. Loretta Lynn's first album in a dozen years, Full Circle, debuts at #4 with sales of nearly 21k. This is one of the best opening weeks of the 83 year old Icon's career. Sam Hunt's Montevallo rounds out the Top 5 with 7,500 more albums added to his true album sales tally.

Top Ten Recap

Thomas Rhett's Tangled Up is at #6 with sales approaching 325k to date while Luke Bryan's Kill The Lights has topped 914k thus far. Carrie Underwood's Storyteller is at nearly 540k while Blake Shelton's Reloaded: 20 Number One Hits is at #9 with sales of over 1/4 million to date for his second hits project. Meanwhile, Eric Church's Mr. Misunderstood rounds out the Top 10.
