Jana Kramer "I Got The Boy" Certified Gold

Singer/songwriter’s lead single from “Thirty-One” joins “Why You Wanna” as her second Gold-certified single.

2015 has been one of the best years of Jana Kramer’s career as the singer/songwriter closes out the year with her second ever Gold-certified single “I Got The Boy,” recorded for the Elektra Records Nashville label. The lead single from thirty one reached the certification the same week it sits just outside of the Top 10 of both Billboard and Mediabase’s radio airplay charts.

“This song means the world to me and I’m over the moon that people are reacting to it in such a positive way.”

In October, thirty one debuted with career-best sales numbers where the album landed in the Top 10 of the all-genre Billboard 200 albums and at #3 on the Country Albums sales chart.

“I Got The Boy,” which has been performed on national programs like ABC’s “Good Morning America,” is a sentimental song about moving on and serves as a strong entry point to the rising star’s album which reads like a personal journal from Jana’s life. She co-wrote six of the eleven tracks on thirty one and says it represents her life to this very exciting point.

The singer and her husband Michael Caussin recently celebrated the impending birth of their first child with a baby shower.

Kramer’s self-titled debut produced the Top 10 Gold-certified hit “Why Ya Wanna” and the Top 20 hit “Whiskey” while she also serves as a national spokeswoman and has appeared in commercials for Nationwide.
