After working for years as an independent artist in Texas and growing his presence on a national scale, Granger Smith is ready to break out with the announcement that he’s signed with BBR Music Group as the newest artist on their roster.
As the music industry changed around him, Granger Smith was able to grow awareness for him as an artist in an unusual way: via YouTube video and social media featuring alter ego Earl Dibbles Jr. The success of the Earl Dibbles Jr. character can be felt far and wide as memes have spread to the point that people who haven’t ever listened to Granger Smith before know who Earl Dibbles Jr. is. That brings us to Granger himself and why he’s such an engaging artist; He knows how to connect with the audience and does so in unique ways.
His music is often personal and pulled from his life as a touring musician and as a family man and with country music needing that kind of artist, he’s ready to deliver this kind of music to the fans.
