Alan Jackson hits #1 after 'settling' for #2 during the release week of his latest fan favorite "Angels and Alcohol."

It took an extra week but Alan Jackson does get his time at #1 on the Top 1o Country Album chart report this week. The report for August 4, 2015 features Alan Jackson's latest album, Angels and Alcohol at #1 with Ashley Monroe's The Blade hitting #2. The third best-selling this week is Sam Hunt's Montevallo, followed by Jason Isbell's Something More Than Free album, the album which squeaked by Alan Jackson last week to hold down #1. Rounding out the Top 5 is Zack Brown Band's nearly-Gold Jekyll+Hyde album.

Sitting at #6 this week is Eric Church's Platinum-certified stunner, The Outsiders, an album followed by Little Big Town's Pain Killer and Jason Aldean's Old Boots, New Dirt at #7 and #8, respectively. Sitting at #9 is Just As I Am, the latest collection of songs from Brantley Gilbert, and rounding out the Top 10 is Florida Georgia Line's Anything Goes album.
