Hank Williams, Jr. Joins NASH Icon Records

Superstar becomes latest veteran star to join label created for successful veteran artists still relevant to fans. Fans should expect an album by late 2015.

After one album released via Blaster Records, Hank Williams, Jr. has signed to the burgeoning label NASH Icon Records, a joint venture label between BMLG and Cumulus. He’s the fourth signee to the label after Reba, Martina McBride and Ronnie Dunn.

"Country music singers have always been a real close family and today the Nash Icon family has added me as a new member. I have done shows with Ronnie Dunn, recorded a hit record with Reba and absolutely love Martina McBride,” said Williams, Jr. "I am writing songs better than ever and am signed with a label that is already making history … it’s an exciting time!"

Hank Jr has performed for over five decades and has sold over 70 million albums worldwide with 20 gold albums, six platinum albums and 13 #1 albums to his credit. He’s won CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year awards while also winning Grammy and BMI awards. He’s also a member of the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame.
“We are all absolutely thrilled and honored to have Hank Jr. join us at Nash Icon Records. His passion for making new music has never been stronger and creatively he is on fire!” exclaimed Nash Icon Records General Manager Jim Weatherson.

The album he records for NASH Icon Records will be his 37th album and will be recorded with a late 2015 release date planned.
