Trace Adkins Signs With BBR Music Group

Star felt like the family-like atmosphere of the powerful indie label was the perfect fit for his next act as a recording star.

The multi-media country music icon has announced today that he's signed with the BBR Music Group. Home to Broken Bow Records, Stoney Creek Records and Red Bow Records, the BBR Music Group features a diverse artist roster featuring Joe Nichols, Randy Houser, Thompson Square, Chase Bryant, Parmalee and Jason Aldean, among others.

Adkins' most recent releases have been the Trace Adkins Country! Live DVD and his 2013 release, the traditional Celtic Country Christmas album. He's had 14 Top 10 hits with a handful of #1s and is quite well-known for his blend of fun ditties, heartfelt and serious songs that puts him in a unique place that is held by few, if any, other artists.

"I still think that I have something to offer," Adkins told Billboard. "I'm 53 years old, but I'm a bad 'sumbitch. I still got everything that I need to do what I need to do. I've got all my faculties. All my physical attributes are still there. I can still sing. It's all good.”

The singer is already at work on his first album for Broken Bow Records with producer Micky Jack Cones in Nashville. Adkins previously recorded for both Capitol Nashville and Show Dog Nashville before signing with BBR Music Group.
