After years of flirting with major country radio — and experiencing a pair of hits in the process — Kid Rock has signed with Warner Bros. Nashville.
Already on the Warner Bros. Records roster (after years at Atlantic, also a WMG company), Rock’s new single “First Kiss” will get the chance to be his fourth Top 40 hit at country radio after “Picture,” a duet with Sheryl Crow, “Single Father,” and his juggernaut summer anthem “All Summer Long,” which is his only Top 5 country hit to date.
Kid Rock’s new album, which is named after the lead single “First Kiss,” debuted earlier this year at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart with over 100,000 albums sold.
