Country Album Chart Report For March 11, 2015

The Weekly chart report is top lined by Sam Hunt but features a debut from Shania Twain as her first ever live album hit retail last week.

After a few weeks away, Sam Hunt is back at the #1 slot on the Country Album Chart Report For March 11, 2015. Hunt's Montevallo has now sold nearly 365k to date. Shania Twain debuts at #2 with Still The One: Live In Vegas. It has scanned nearly 11k in 2 weeks (somehow 1,300 copies sold before release week). With digital sales now out as well, look for it to hold well on next week's chart. #3 features Jason Aldean's Old Boots New Dirt by with sales now at over 867k to date while Florida Georgia Line's Anything Goes is at #4 with sales of 587.5k to date. Carrie Underwood's Greatest Hits: Decade #1 sits at #5 with sales exactly at 300,800 (pushing the RIAA number to 601,600 for certification purposes. This means when she hits 500k sold to stores for the project, it'll be determined to be a Platinum project, look for that news any day now).

Top Ten Recap

Eric Church's The Outsiders is at #6 and is barely still the best-selling country album released in 2014 and it will hold off Jason Aldean's Old Boots, New Dirt with that tile for only one more week as Aldean's still out-selling Church and is only 700 albums behind him for the top slot. Chase Rice is at #7 with Ignite The Night. Aaron Watson's The Underdog has scanned over 40k in three weeks to hold down #8 while Miranda Lambert's Platinum sits at #9. Luke Bryan rounds out the Top 10 with 2013's best-selling country album release, Crash My Party. He's scanned nearly 2.4 million copies of the project and will debut at #1 next week with his Spring Break...Checkin' Out project.
