Country Album Chart Report For February 19, 2015

Valentine's Day and post-Grammy interest drives sales for weekly tally through the roof with nearly every album gaining over last week's sales numbers!

For the first time in roughly a month, Sam Hunt Does not sit at #1 on the Country Album Chart Report For February 19, 2015. Instead, Blackberry Smoke score their first #1 on any chart with Holding All The Roses, their fine album released through Rounder Records. The album moved over 19k copies last week. Hunt's Montevallo sits at #2 and now has now sold over 319k to date and outsold the #3 album, Jason Aldean's Old Boots New Dirt by 3,000 copies. Florida Georgia Line's Anything Goes is at #4 and has now scanned over 567k to date. at #5 is Miranda Lambert's Grammy-winning PlatinumThe album scanned nearly 11k last week thanks to both the full week of post-Grammy love and also Valentine's Day gift sales. She's now at over 637k scanned.

Greatest Hits: Decade #1 from Carrie Underwood leads the next half of the Country Album Chart Report For February 19, 2015 with sales of 10k plus for the week Bringing total sales to over 281k so far. Luke Bryan's juggernaut Crash My Party sits at #7 with sales of 9,100 last week while  Man Against Machine from Garth Brooks sits at #8 this week with sales at nearly 592k to date. Eric Church's The Outsiders sits at #9 with sales now at 853k while Robert Earl Keen's bluegrass tribute, Happy Prisoner debuts at #10 with nearly 7k scanned in his first week, proving fans in Texas still love their iconic star.

The Next 5/Notables

George Strait's The Cowboy Rides Away...Live album leads The Next 5 with sales now at nearly 309k to date while Zac Brown Band's Greatest Hits...So Far is next with another 5k fans taking home the album which chronicles the years of 2008-2014 (the band's entire tenure with Atlantic Records as partners). Blake Shelton's still Bringing Back The Sunshine with his latest at #13 this week with sales now at 326.5k. Brantley Gilbert's Just As I Am has now scanned over 734k while Chase Rice's Ignite The Night, his debut album via a major label rouns out the Next 5 with nearly 173k scanned to date.
Notables include the 100k-selling, Grammy-nominated Meta Modern Sounds in Country Music from Sturgill Simpson, Cole Swindell's self-titled debut has now sold nearly 322k to date while Tim McGraw and Thomas Rhett have both sold over 230k with their latest albums. If you look at our linked chart below you'll also see news for albums from Keith Urban, Hunter Hayes, and Brandy Clark, who has tallied nearly 46k to date (both indie and major label releases of 12 Stories). If you're looking for Scotty McCreery news on See You Tonight, it's roughly the same as last week's numbers (just add 300 or 400 to that total as it missed the Top 75 Country albums this week.
