Blake Shelton Makes History With 13th Consecutive No. 1 Single

"What can I say besides a HUGE thank you to country radio and yall fans! 'Neon Light' has become my 18th #1 song!!!"

Blake Shelton is at it again. He has made history with having 13 consecutive chart-topping hits, landing this week at No. 1 with "Neon Light."

Shelton had previously set the record with "My Eyes" being the longest streak, but if anyone is going to break that record, might as well be the man himself!

"What can I say besides a HUGE thank you to country radio and yall fans," Shelton tweeted upon hearing the news. "'Neon Light' has become my 18th #1 song!!!"

"Neon Light" is Shelton's 18th No. 1 overall and first single off his latest album Bringing Back the Sunshine.  “

"It'’s always exciting to have a No. 1 record, and I'’m especially proud of this one, because this song blends the current sound on country radio with the traditional feel that I grew up with,”" Shelton said in a release. "“It has elements of a song that one of my heroes, Earl Thomas Conley, might have recorded.”"

Shelton debuted his next single, "Lonely Tonight," featuring Ashley Monroe on The 48th CMA Awards last week.
