Lonesome River Band Announce "Turn On A Dime"

The new album, their first for the Mountain Home Recording Company label, is set for an October release.

One of the top bluegrass bands of the past three decades will return with new music this fall as Lonesome River Band releases new album Turn On A Dime October 14 via Mountain Home Music Company.

The band includes a powerhouse lineup featuring five-time International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Banjo Player of the Year Sammy Shelor, vocalist and songwriter Brandon Rickman on guitar, Mike Hartgrove on fiddle, Barry Reed on bass and Randy Jones on mandolin and vocals. Highlights of the new album include the cleverly written title track "Her Love Don't Turn On A Dime," the jazz-influenced "Don't Shed No Tears," and rousing new versions of traditional favorites such as "Cumberland Gap."
