New Country Songs - July 2014

Check out the New Country Songs found on Roughstock for the past month, all collected right here, just for you.

This month's collection includes the stellar single from Jake Owen, "What We Ain't Got." This is the track that will remind our Traditionalist fans of the kind of neo-traditional song he gravitates to, just as much, if not more than the stuff which becomes hits. We also have two songs called "Shut Me Up" from two rising stars. Lindsay Ell and Old Dominion. While we really like the Lindsay song, Old Dominion's is one of the better singles of the past couple of months, let alone this month.

We feel that Maggie Rose and Brinley Addington showcase why Country music is in a good place. Both songs are different yet both come from independent-minded artists and showcase talent to compete with the major label artists in this world. Maggie's song -- "Girl In Your Truck Song" is light hearted and fun, something she needed after a couple of heavy singles from her debut album Cut To Impress. Addington has some well-known friends and mentors like Chris Young and "Middle Of Nowhere" represents his upcoming project of the same name, due to be released soon.
