ACM Awards reflect modest sales gains for most artists on the charts this week, look for next week’s chart to showcase even more gains as the show only had Sunday evening to showcase purchases from award-show releated stars.
88 thousand fans took home a copy of Luke Bryan’s latest smash hit “Play It Again” and that was enough to make the single the latest Gold-certified hit for the superstar and given that it’s still a young radio hit, he’ll likely see his star rise considerably from it. at #2 is last week’s #1, and a song that also has sold well and features Luke, “This Is How We Roll” from Florida Georgia Line. Brantley Gilbert’s smash hit is at #3. Keith urban remains at #4 with “Cop Car” while “Give Me Back My Hometown” returns to the Top 5 with Eric Church.
Blake Shelton, Jake Owen, Miranda Lambert, Jerrod Niemann and Rascal Flatts Enjoy Top 10 placements with latest hit singles.
Jerrod Niemann’s soon to be #1 radio hit “Drink To That All Night” has sold over 539k to date and sits at #6 while at #7 is Blake Shelton’s current airplay #1 hit “Doin’ What She Likes.” The star is followed on the chart by his wife, Miranda Lambert whose own “Automatic” is a fast-rising hit. AT #9 is Jake Owen’s “Beachin’” the fast-rising hit from his Days Of Gold album. At #10 is Rascal Flatts with “Rewind.”
Notables include Clare Bowen from Nashville, Brett Eldredge, Justin Moore and Chris Young.
This is where the ACM Awards show really made its presence known with big sales gains for Dairus Rucker, Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise,” Jason Aldean’s “When She Says Baby,” and Lee Brice. But other notables are Justin Moore’s “LEttin’ The Night roll, our Riser of the Week, Clare Bowen’s “Black Roses” song from ABC’s Nashville TV show and Chris Young’s “Who I Am With You.”
