Not every new artist gets to land such prime touring slots, but for newcomer Lindsay Ell, she did!
Ell just wrapped her tour with The Band Perry, that had them criss-crossing the country. As family is a huge part of Ell's life, she says the time spent with the sibling trio made her feel at ease and calm each night before taking the stage.
"They have hearts of gold and they are the epitome of hard work," explains Ell. "They just really are great at what they do. It's been amazing being on the road with them and getting to know them and being a sponge, ultimately, and see how they work on a day to day basis. I love the three of them to death. I wish I could tour with them forever!"
Ell is currently in the studio working on her debut album, which she hopes to finish this spring. The album is slated for a fall release, and its lead single, "Trippin' On Us," is at radio now.
"I am so excited to show everybody some of this new music," gushes the blonde beauty. "I can't wait to show everybody the sound that we have. It's country with a little bit of rock and blues here and there. The album will definitely reflect that, but have more of a country sound. It will be something fresh and hopefully stuff that people haven't heard before where we can bring something new to the table."
