Jerrod Niemann - “Drink To That All Night”:

This week we start off our playlist with Jerrod Niemann’s “Drink To That All Night.” The single is Niemann’s first track released from High Noon, his third Arista Nashville record. It’s a fun little tune and it’s all about having a good time, which seems to be the theme of this week’s list.

Carrie Underwood - “One Way Ticket”:

This album track comes from Carrie’s fantastic Blown Away album and finds the superstar singing the kind of song she’s not known for on radio, a super fun, uptempo tune. Well, at least it’s that on the surface but if you actually listen, it’s about enjoying life and living it because we only have one of them to live.

Dierks Bentley - “Drunk On A Plane”:

Dierks Bentley’s never been one to not take a risk but the chances of “RISER” becoming a radio single — at least after “I Hold On” — are slim to none. Instead, I have a feeling that “Drunk On A Plane,” with it’s story about a guy who decides to enjoy his honeymoon even if his ‘wife’ decided to leave him before the wedding nuptials were able to commence.

Luke Bryan - Like We Ain’t Ever”

A track from his Spring Break EP (the title track to the 6th edition), “Like We Ain’t Ever” is just pure fun. It’s all about being able to have a good time with the friends and folks who make the parties and life worth living.

Colt Ford (Feat. Chase Rice) - “The High Life”:

This one may be a polarizing song to some but the lead single from Colt Ford’s upcoming album is very radio-friendly and it does really speak of how many small town weekends happen for more than just the kids in those towns. This one’s all about real life and friendships and the simple blessings in life.

LoCash Cowboys - “Little Miss Crazy Hot”:

This single follows up the fantastic “Best Seat In The House” and while that is a hard single to follow-up, “Little Miss Crazy Hot” is nonetheless able to do it with a fun, sing-a-long ready melody, a song radio will likely eat up.

Danielle Bradbery - “Wild Boy”:

The Winner of The Voice last week, “Wild Boy” is a sweet story song about young love and the perfect potential follow-up to “The Heart Of Dixie” from Danielle. This one is youthful and does kinda remind me of the early JoDee Messina hits but that’s not a bad thing. It’s classic-sounding and current all at the same time. In other words, the kind of song that can become timeless.

Dan+Shay “What You Do To Me”

This song has the feel of something that could have Dan+Shay becoming the Bruno Mars kind of star in Country music, with a chorus that’s mid-tempo groovy while the verses come at ya fast while the “that’s what you do-do-do-do-do to me” suggests this one will be a huge hit for the duo of Dan Smeyers and Shay Mooney.

Kelleigh Bannen - “Famous”:

Who doesn’t like a little bit of revenge fantasy? That’s exactly what “Famous” represents. Packaged together in a sound that is extremely likable, “Famous” has all the markings of a big hit for this Nashville native. While it’s unlike anything else on her record, this song is undoubtedly the kind of song people pay attention to, and one we’ve been fond of since December.
