Miranda Lambert Leads List of 2014 ACM Nominations with Seven; Tim McGraw, Keith Urban, Lee Brice, Blake Shelton Among Nominees

The Results are in! The 2014 Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM Awards) nominations are out. Presented today via ‘digital press conference,' the award nominations were handed out in the various categories with the usual suspects hitting the lists. The Results are in! The 2014 Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM Awards) nominations are out. Presented today via ‘digital press conference’ ** (Twitter), the award nominations were handed out in the various categories with the usual suspects in most of the categories. Leading the way with seven artist nominations (not including producer credits) is Miranda Lambert. She scored Entertainer of the Year, Female Vocalist, Single, Song, Music video and 2 Vocal Event (as part of the Pistol Annies). Kacey Musgraves, Tayor Swift, Blake Shelton, Lee Brice, and Keith Urban all scored 5 nominations while Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum and Tim McGraw scoring four nominations each. Darius Rucker and Luke Bryan scored three nominations each with The Band Perry Scoring two.

NOTE: Some artists, like Keith Urban and Tim McGraw scored additional nominations as artists and producers for their album and/or single of the year nominations. Those aren't included in the tally above.

The ACM’s will be broadcast live from Las Vegas (the MCM Grand Garden Arena) on Sunday April 6, 2014 at 8pm ET live/Delayed PT on CBS).
