If you follow LeAnn Rimes on any social media sites, you probably have gathered by now that she is quite festive around the holidays. Well Christmas in her household is no different.
"It's all about decorations," Rimes tells Roughstock with laughter. "We have two trees, and I’m a huge Christmas shopper. I start right around August"
So if she starts shopping that early, when does she begin turning her L.A. home into a winter wonderland?
"I start before Thanksgiving," she admits. "I kind of skip over Thanksgiving. I celebrate it, but the decorations are out" The newly-married singer is enjoying the process of starting new traditions in her house with actor/hubby Eddie Cibrian and his two sons. Christmas is a special time of year for both of them, as that's when their path to husband and wife began.
"I got engaged on Christmas Eve several years ago," she says with a smile. "Eddie and I go down to the beach on Christmas Eve and go to this place where he proposed to me and hang out. That’s kind of our new tradition."
In other news, LeAnn Rimes is soon to be a free agent from Curb Records as the singer's 20 year contract with the label ends at the end of 2013.
