LeAnn Rimes and her actor husband, Eddie Cibrian, are getting ready to open their home to the world with the start of their new reality television show on VH1. LeAnn & Eddie -- a half-hour reality series -- will premier this fall.
The new show will be produced by Gurney Productions and it will give viewers an honest look inside the couple's life and marriage. Showing their own life out of the spotlight is something the Rimes and Cibrian have been anxious to do since being the center of attention in the rumor mill with various tabloids in the past few years.
“We are really excited to be working together on a unique show that will give you a glimpse into who we really are, or better yet who we’re really not,” Rimes and Cibrian said in a joint statement sent out in a press release earlier this week. “We’re thrilled to partner with VH1 and the Gurneys to put our spin on a project full of love, humor and music.”
“LeAnn and Eddie are both talented entertainers who have really captured the public’s imagination in the last couple of years, but there is so much more to them than what you read in the tabloids," adds Tom Calderone, President of VH1. "This is going to be a really fun show in which we hope to reveal what their lives are really like — from the normalcy of their home life, to what drives them artistically, to the chaos of their celebrity life.”
LeAnn & Eddie will begin airing its initial six-episode run in the fall of 2013.
