We kicked off our Second Annual Music Video Madness tournament last week with sixteen artists squaring off in 8 games in four conferences. Were there any upsets? Read on to find out and to vote for Round II's Great Eight Videos (2 each region)!

It was a hard fought contest last week between the sixteen artists. In our Appalacian conference game one, we had Lauren Alaina facing off against Chris Cagle. Chris took home was able to hold off a late rally to squeak out the victory. Game two found Neal McCoy squaring off against Jason Cassidy and in the end the veteran hit maker scored enough votes to move on to take on Chris Cagle in a match featuring veteran hitmakers making radio/video comebacks in 2012.

The Rodeo Conference found Scotty McCreery squaring off against Gloriana and with his huge group of fans, Scotty took home the first round win. Scotty will be facing off this week against Thompson Square who defeated Jessie James in Round one.

The Frontier Conference found our first and only upset of the week with newcomer Andy Gibson beating Toby Keith with a late full-court press from his growing fanbase!. Andy will take on newcomer Canaan Smith who defeated Casey Donahew band in round one.

The Ranch Conference found Lee Brice defeating Kip Moore in a close contest while last year's winner Craig Campbell returned with a solid victory over talented singer/songwriter. Katie Armiger. Lee and Craig will face off in the finale of the Ranch Conference game this week.

So the Great 8 features matches of Chris Cagle vs. Neal McCoy, Scotty McCreery vs. Thompson Square, Andy Gibson vs. Canaan Smith, and returning champion Craig Campbell vs. Kip Moore.

How Roughstock’s Music Video Madness Works!

There are four divisions with a conference and after starting with 16 artists and 8 games, the eight winning videos will now compete in conference finales this week. After the voting ends on Tuesday, March 27, we will pair the division winners of the Appalacian and Rodeo Conferences and the winners of the Frontier and Ranch Conferences. Our final contest  between the winners of each of those games will then determine what music video wins Roughstock’s Second Annual Music Video Madness Award! (Craig Campbell won 2011's inagual Music Video Madness Contest).
