It’s that time of the week again. No, it’s not that time of the week; it’s time to chronicle this week’s best-selling country albums on The Nielsen SoundScan Hot 200 Albums Chart. As with the other 22 weeks they have been on the chart, Lady Antebellum’s sophomore album Need You Now sits atop the best-selling country albums with another 27,000 albums added to the hopper. The trio has now sold over 2,380,000 copies. With another 22,000 more copies scanned of their own, the Zac Brown Band’s debut The Foundation continues to do very, very well on the charts. Miranda Lambert’s Revolution is next with over 15,000 more copies sold as “Only Prettier” ramps up for airplay. Carrie Underwood is looking like she’ll score another #1 hit with “Undo It” (a so-so single from her). The song helped Play On find 12,000 more homes while Jaron and the Long Road to Love’s Getting Dressed In The Dark has moved more than 48,000 copies in three weeks on the Nielsen SoundScan Hot 200 Albums chart. The album, which features Top 15 hit “Pray For You” and upcoming single “That’s Beautiful To Me” will likely move over 50,000 copies sold next week.

Dierks Bentley’s Up On The Ridge may be a rootsy, bluegrass-based album but it’s still selling as good –if not better than – his previous country album Feel That Fire did at the same point. If the title tune continues to move up the country single chart into the Top 20, perhaps fans will adapt to Dierks’ ‘new’ sound yet, a sound which is more him than perhaps some of his past hits were. Taylor Swift continues to be Fearless as the album found more than 8,000 fans homes. Jewel’s Sweet and Wild is next and it has now found over 71,000 homes on the strength of loyal fans and a Top 30 single. Luke Bryan’s Doin’ My Thing is next with nearly 6,000 more fans grabbin’ their own copy of the album. This week Luke has his second consecutive #1 hit in “Rain is a Good Thing,” a slot he’ll likely only hold for the one week thanks to Carrie Underwood. Brad Paisley, fresh of a two-week run with “Water” as the #1 single - rounds out this week’s Top 10 country albums as American Saturday Night inches closer to the 600,000 copies scanned mark.

Brooks & Dunn may be on their Last Rodeo as a duo but their career-spanning hits collection still found 5,400 more homes this week. This was good enough to make them the eleventh best-selling country artist on this week’s SoundScan Hot 200 Albums chart. Newcomer Easton Corbin found 5,300 more fans appreciative of his brand of music as the artist now sits Top 20 with his second single “Roll With It,” the follow-up to the chart-topper “I’m A Little More Country Than That.” Lady A’s venerable debut album continues to be a Top 15 best-selling country record as the album found 5200 more fans. With “I Run To You” now a pop single, there’s a chance the album continues to steadily out-sell much, much newer recordings. Jason Aldean, who will miss out on a #1 single with “Crazy Town,” has the 14th best-selling country record as wide open found more than 5,100 homes while the Zac Brown Band’s live opus Pass The Jar has found nearly 5,100 homes as well and the three-disc live set now has sold over 90,000 copies since being released earlier this year.

The Trailer Choir’s full-length Show Dog-Universal debut Tailgate debuts as the 87th best-selling (and 16th country album) on the SoundScan Hot 200 Albums chart this week. The album, which features the Top 30 hit “Rockin’ The Beer Gut,” the Top 50 hits “Off The Hillbilly Hook” and “Rollin’ Through The Sunshine” should be joined soon by the title tune as it gets set to be released to radio. Curb’s Clay Walker is next with She Won’t Be Lonely Long. The album features the Top 5 hit title track and has scanned nearly 45,000 copies in a month on the charts. Newcomer Lee Brice’s debut album Love Like Crazy is the 18th best-selling country album this week and it now features a Top 10 hit in the title tune. Brice previously scored a Top 30 hit with “Happy Endings,” and hit 32 with “She Ain’t Right” before “Love Like Crazy” was released almost a year ago. Colt Ford, who parodied Twilight with much success in the music video for the Chicken & Biscuits title tune, has found another 4,000 fans as the record passed the 73,000 albums-scanned mark. The Crazy Heart soundtrack rounds out this week’s chart.

Next week we’ll see Jerrod Niemann jumping onto these charts with his debut album Judge Jerrod and the Hung Jury. The album is looking like a very strong contender to debut at #1 on the Hot Country Albums, a feat that no album has been able to accomplish since Lady Antebellum shocked the industry with their huge debut week and subsequent weeks as the best-selling album in the country (and for the year so far). Check back here to see if Jerrod was able to accomplish this feat (as “Lover, Lover” hits Top 5).
Note: Reba didn't see Keep On Loving You jump back into the Top 20 country albums but the superstar has now moved 519,455 copies of the album since its release last year. She has now moved onto the follow-up album with "Turn On The Radio" now spinning on, well, radio airwaves.
