After achieving success as a southwestern band, Denton, TX.'s Eli Young Band has made the move to the national scene.  With their album "Jet Black & Jealous" recently released, the band was honored to be chosen by Yahoo! Music as a hot "Who's Next" band.

In a rare feat for a country music-based artist, Republic South/Universal South recording artist Eli Young Band has been chosen as one of Yahoo Music's "Who's Next."  The Denton, TX.-based quartet first came to notoriety in bars around Texas, where they became household names and beloved by many.  Yahoo selected the band after they recently released their sophomore album, “Jet Black & Jealous” which is their major label debut.  The band’s current single, “Always The Love Songs” is currently rising the charts at country radio, after their independently produced single “When It Rains” introduced them nationally.
