To promote his Debut album for BNA Records this week, Craig Morgan will be making the rounds on National TV.  In addition to an appearance on ABC's "Good Morning America" to sing "Love Remembers" on Friday, October 25, Morgan will also be inducted to the Grand Ole Opry.

Nashville, TN – October 20, 2008 –  Craig Morgan’s fifth studio album, That’s Why, arrives in stores tomorrow, October 21st. Morgan will appear live on ABC TV’s Good Morning America on Friday, October 24th at 8:30 a.m. (all time zones), performing his current hit single “Love Remembers” to launch his new BNA Records CD. Morgan’s GMA appearance is just the first of several national media events surrounding the release of the highly-anticipated record, which has already been previewed in the New York Times and USA Today. That’s Why is the first new studio album from Morgan since 2006.

Morgan will leave the GMA studios immediately after concluding his performance and spend the day doing back-to-back national television interviews in New York. Morgan is scheduled to do interviews that day with ABC News Now, CBS News, Fox News, and Associated Press TV.

He returns to Nashville that night, as the following day he will receive one of country music’s highest honors. Morgan will be inducted as the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry on Saturday, October 25th. His Opry induction will be broadcast live on GAC: Great American Country’s Opry Live, airing at 9:00 p.m. (ET). Morgan’s special Opry induction show will re-air on GAC on October 26th at 1:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m. (all times ET).

Also this week, fans can tune in to GAC to watch a very special concert event, Craig Morgan: Back to Bragg – Presented by Case IH. Filmed last month at Morgan’s former Army post, Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, the 1-hour show follows him as he catches up with old friends, makes new ones, and performs a free concert for the soldiers and their families. GAC cameras follow Morgan through jump training, an early morning physical training run, and catching up with some of his old buddies. Morgan also gives viewers a tour of the 82nd Airborne Division Museum, where he reflects on his time stationed in Panama. Later, Morgan joins 150 volunteers for a "stuffing party" as they build over 10,000 USO care packages for troops stationed overseas. The centerpiece of the show is Morgan's live performance with his band, which takes place in an aviation hangar at Simmons Airfield. During the concert, Morgan is surprised on-stage by one if his heroes, Opry great Jon Conlee, who in an emotional moment, invites Morgan to become the Opry’s newest member. Craig Morgan: Back to Bragg – Presented by Case IH airs on GAC throughout this week, on October 22 at 8:00 p.m., on October 23 at 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., on October 25th at 11:00 p.m. and on October 26th at 3:00 a.m. (all times ET).

Morgan has built his tremendous popularity with massive radio airplay of his signature hits, including “Almost Home,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “International Harvester,” and “That’s What I Love About Sunday,” which was Billboard’s Most Played Country Song of 2005. Morgan has performed on the Grand Ole Opry more than 130 times, and plays over 200 sold-out concerts a year. He spent ten years on active duty in the U.S. Army before launching his music career, and makes a point to perform as often as possible at U.S. military installations both in the U.S. and abroad. He was awarded the USO Merit Award in 2006 for his tireless support of U.S. soldiers and their families.
