Subject: TRY A LITTLE KINDNESS by Glen Campbell

Jaimee Reese asked for this song. This is how I do it. As always, I'm
using the Nashville Numbering System so that it applies to any key that
will fit your voice. If anyone would like an explanation of the NNS,
there are three of them at Cowpie/Resources/Lessons. My explanation is
#3 but read them all. Feel free to contact me for help at
tipper194@juno.com.

TRY A LITTLE KINDNESS
Recorded by: Glen Campbell
Words and Music by: Bobby Austin and Curt Sapaugh
Submitted by: Thomas Rivers

(VERSE 1)
IF YOU SEE YOUR BROTHER STANDING BY THE ROAD
WITH A HEAVY LOAD, FROM THE SEEDS HE'S SOWED
AND IF YOU SEE YOUR SISTER FALLING BY THE WAY
JUST STOP AND SAY, YOU'RE GOING THE WRONG WAY

(CHORUS)
YOU'VE GOTTA TRY A LITTLE KINDNESS, (YEAH) SHOW A LITTLE KINDNESS,
JUST SHINE YOUR LIGHT FOR EVERYONE TO SEE
AND IF YOU TRY A LITTLE KINDNESS, THEN YOU'LL OVERLOOK THE BLINDNESS,
OF NARROW MINDED PEOPLE, ON THEIR NARROW MINDED STREETS.

(VERSE 2)
DON'T WALK AROUND THE DOWN AND OUT
LEND A HELPING HAND, INSTEAD OF DOUBT.
AND THE KINDNESS THAT YOU SHOW EVERYDAY
WILL HELP SOMEONE, ALONG THEIR WAY.
