                         CLINT BLACK
                      UNTANGLIN' MY MIND

INTRO: |G\\ C\ G\   |D\\ DM7\\   |Em\\  A\\   |D\\ A\\
       |D\\ A\...

D                      A               D        D
I guess you're glad to see I'm finally leaving.
       Bm                  F#m                Em      A
I know things for you will change now for the good,
         G              G             D        D
But it's all that I can do to pack my suitcase
    Em             Em7           A        A\...
And walk away from you the way I should.

    D               A                 D        D
And I can't seem to find the voice of reason.
     Bm                 F#m                 Em      A
Everything seems upside down and right side wrong.
        G             G                   D        D
While a part of me is here and won't like leaving,
D               A                  D        D
The rest of me, the best of me, is gone.

                 G                C  -   G          D        D
         And I'm sure no one will wonder where I've gone to,
                G             F                C       C
         But if anyone should ask from time to time
         G                 C   -   G        D       D
         Tell 'em that you finally drove me crazy,
                 D           A           D      A     D    A\...
         And I'm somewhere untanglin' my mind.

      D                   A               D        D
Well, tell 'em I won't be riding, I'll be walking;
Bm                    F#m              Em        A
Cause I don't think a crazy man should drive.
G           G              D        D
Anyway, the car belongs to you now,
           Em          Em7              A       A
Along with any part of me that's still alive.

            D               A                   D        D
But there's really not much left you could hold on to;
           Bm               F#m          Em       A
And if you did, it wouldn't last here anyway.
         G                 G                 D       D
It would head to where the rest of me rolled on to;
        D           A              D       D
So even if I wanted to, I couldn't stay.

                 G                C  -   G          D        D
         And I'm sure no one will wonder where I've gone to,
                G             F                C       C
         But if anyone should ask from time to time
         G                 C   -   G        D       D
         Tell 'em that you finally drove me crazy,
                 D           A           D       Bm
         And I'm somewhere untanglin' my mind.
                 Em          A           D       A
         And I'm somewhere untanglin' my mind.
