Subject: Blue Eyes Cryin' in the Rain

A lot of people don't know that this song was written by Fred Rose, and
that in its original version recorded by Acuff (which I have and love to
listen to) is quite different from Willie's version. The second line is,
"As we kissed goodbye and parted," and there is an entire second verse:

Now my hair has turned to silver.
All my life, I've loved in vain.
I can see her star in heaven.
Blue eyes cryin' in the rain.

followed by the second bridge.

Love the corral--keep up the great work.
