Featured on this year's X-Factor telecast, The Sony X Headphones are a brand new brand created by Sony and Simon Cowell's Syco Entertainment. We're proud to be able to give away one set of these amazing and comfortable headphones to one lucky fan!
Our editor has been using a pair of these headphones for about a week now and we must say that we've yet to use a pair of headphones that rival the sound that is created by these headphones. We've long advocated the in-ear monitor brands from Shure and have used Beats and without a doubt, these are above anything in the Beats collection (they're not as bass-heavy). The sound is clean, crisp and while you can still hear the bass (and country music uses a lot of it), the acoustic instruments are clearly heard as is the vocal mix. In fact, we'd venture to say that you'll be able to experience your music in a way you've probably never heard it before, if you've never had the chance to use a top-tier set of headphones.
Design wise, the ear pad is comfortable for hours of listening, the Grey/Silver/White scheme is great while the flat, non-tangle cord is downright awesome. The case which comes with the headphones will keep them comfortably safe when not being used and the phones come with an extra iPhone wire for use with the iPhone (see below for more info).
