Roughstock wants to know what are the favorite albums by the FANS of country music. We will include some of the more popular fan selections in a rundown of our own editorial selections. We would love if you would leave a comment with your favorite albums released in 2009!
Please note that the album must have been released between January 2009-December 2009 to be included on the list. So the Lady Antebellum self-titled debut, Jamey Johnson That Lonesome Song, Darius Rucker's Learn To Live, Zac Brown Band's The Foundation are among those that are ineligible for inclusion on this year's list. Also, it doesn't need to be a mainstream or 'popular' to be considered for the list.

hands down brad paisley's american saturday night is my favorite. keith urban's defying gravity is also amazing, and did billy currington's a little bit of everything come out this year? if so that's my third favorite:)

The BEST album of the year has to be without any questions, the Fantastic GENE WATSON and THE TASTE OF THE TRUTH!!! His voice is still just as good as it ever was and his popularity is growing.
