Toby Keith proves his superstardom with the embracing song "She Never Cried In Front Of Me." Soaring vocals, careful piano-play make this song evocative to many who listen to it. It narrates the life of a strong woman, with the perspective and relationship shifting in the verses from singers to subject. The performance allows Keith to demonstrate his range a bit more than usual, although at some points, his delivery gets muddied between what could either be pain or overdoing it. Nonetheless, another hit may be upon us, as the song's interpretation is dynamic, allowing it to be tangible to many, and worthy of listening and re-listening for clarity and to simply relate.
