Taylor Swift has found another branding partner with the announcement via YouTube yesterday as the 23 year-old singer has partnered with Diet Coke on a series of initiatives to help both brands, according to Ad Age.
While it's unclear exactly what the "Begin Again" singer will be doing for Diet Coke, its likely she'll be come a brand ambassador of sorts with the partnership going beyond simple 30 second TV ad spots. She will not be part of the company's Super Bowl Campain, according to Ad Age.
Named Billboard's Top Money Maker of 2012, Swift (who breezed past stars like Pepsi's Beyonce, Adele and Lady Gaga) scored estimated earnings of more than $35 million, a number which comes from touring revenue and brand partnerships with Sony Electornics, Cover Girl, Walgreens and Keds (among others). Swift has won 6 Grammy Awards out of her 15 total nominations and has won the ACM Entertainer of the Year award.
In October she rather comically told Bon Appetit magazine the cola is always in her refrigerator, "because it understands me." She was also photographed clutching a can of Diet Coke in London earlier this week.
