After scoring last week’s #1 debut on the charts with his American Ride album, Toby Keith saw the usual second-week sales drop and because of this, the superstar’s ride atop the Nielsen SoundScan Hot Country Albums album chart is over after only one week as Taylor Swift’s Fearless reclaims that spot.  The Zac Brown Band is third this week on the charts with their Foundation continuing to sell nicely and the album is nearing the 1,100,000 albums sold mark while their Cracker Barrel-exclusive version of the record (it doesn’t have ‘Toes’ or ‘Jolene’ but has live tracks instead) has continued to march up the charts and is at the 115th place on the Nielsen SoundScan Hot 200 Albums chart.  Miranda Lambert’s Revolution has now moved over the 100,000 sales mark and sits fourth on this week’s Hot 200 Country Albums chart.  Rounding out this week’s Top 5 albums on the Nielsen SoundScan Hot 200 Country Albums chart is Rosanne Cash’s The List, an album which is a tribute to her father.

Luke Bryan’s Doin’ My Thing drops from second to sixth on this week’s Hot Country Albums chart while Lady Antebellum’s self-titled debut continues to be a resilient Top 10 chart place-holder.  The Hannah Montana Movie Soundtrack continues to be resilient as well as it holds the eighth place on this week’s Hot Country Albums Chart (and 37th on the Hot 200 Albums chart).  Jason Aldean’s Wide Open remains in this week’s Top 10 of the chart as the record has now sold over 680,000 copies thanks in large part to the #1 singles “She’s Country” and “Big Green Tractor” and the new Top 40 hit “The Truth.”   Rounding out this week’s Top 10 on the Hot Country Albums chart is Brooks & Dunn with their #1’s…And Then Some

It’s remained in the same spot for the last two weeks.  Sugarland’s new Holiday album Gold and Green debuts this week as the 11th-best selling country album while also being the 56th best-selling album on the Hot 200 Albums chart from Nielsen SoundScan.   Chris Young may not be the man he wants to be quite yet but he sure is the man that fans want him to be as his Man I Want To Be rides the #1 success of “Getting You Home (The Black Dress Song)” to a 66th place on the Hot 200 Albums chart.  The album has now scanned over 85,000 copies.  Traditional country fans may be asking “Why” Rascal Flatts’ career seems Unstoppable but the band sure isn’t as their album returns to the Top half of the Hot 200 Albums chart and sits in 88th place this week.  The record has now scanned over one million copies since being released this past spring.  Justin Moore’s self-titled record sits at 114th on this week’s Hot 200 Albums chart but with the album selling strongly behind the #1 hit “Small Town USA” and the soon to be hit “Backwoods,” Justin may find himself with one of the best-selling debut albums of 2009.  Rounding out the interesting part of the album chart this week is Love and Theft’s World Wide Open. On the strength of hit single “Runaway,” and a $1.99 sale at Amazon.com’s digital store, the album returned to the Hot 200 Albums chart this week.

Next week’s chart will see the addition of at least Tim McGraw’s Southern Voice while likely also finding a spot for Bomshel’s first album Fight Like A Girl as well.
