Today is the day Tate Stevens officially signed his record contract with Nashville's division of RCA Records. The singer, who won The X-Factor in late December 2012, is already working on his debut album. The contract is through Simon Cowell's Syco Music in addition to RCA, Not unlike Carrie Underwood's record deal with 19 Entertainment/Arista Nashville.

Tate also signed a management deal with Vector management and is slated to release his debut album in the spring, not waiting for a massive hit like The X-Factor season 1 winner Melanie Amaro has.
